Service is at the heart of Elders Primary Wool’s operation – it offers a range of on-farm services including ram and hogget selection, woolshed visits, advice and assistance with wool clip preparation, market reports and analysis of trends.

Wool handled by Elders Primary Wool may be sold at auction, by private sale or marketed directly to carpet and woollen mills, yarn-makers or wool exporters.The company handles a wide mix of wools and has the proven expertise to cater for every wool producer from fine wools, through the mid-micron range to strong wools.

Attention to detail in all areas of the wool handling process is critical. Elders Primary Wool’s internal sampling, testing, binning and classing standards are rigorously examined and maintained at very high levels to ensure our client’s wool meets market demands. It has wool stores at ten key locations throughout New Zealand - Napier, Gisborne, Te Kuiti, Masterton, Dannevirke, Wanganui, Christchurch, Mosgiel, Gore and Invercargill .
